Thought of the day:
Three things -
1 - In the movie 'Australia', they talk about a certain custom the aboriginal people have. When a person dies, you no longer say their name.
2 - In our culture, we often use the word "was" to signify that a person is no longer living.
3 - In 'War Horse', at the end of the movie, the soldier asks the old man what his little girl's name was even though she had died. He says, "Emily. Her name is Emily."
When a person dies, their name never stops being that. You don't lose it because you die whether people remember it or not. It remains yours just as who you were in life remains. This is just something to ponder on and take to more elevated thought. Don't forget to think outside of this box.
